Cookies and Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and uses them to recognize repeat visits from the same device.

Through those cookies, Google Analytics collects and processes information including the pages you view and how long you spend on them, the link or search that referred you to the site, an approximate geographic location derived from your IP address, and your device, browser, and screen size. Google processes this information on our behalf and stores it on Google servers.

We review this data only in aggregate, to see which pages are useful and how people reach the site. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not sell it. This site does not run advertising or remarketing tags.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your activity on this and other sites by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

The participant interest form

Our Participate page hosts a form provided by JotForm. When you submit it, the information you enter, such as your name, contact details, and the eligibility information the form asks for, is transmitted to and stored on JotForm's servers, where it can be read by the lab members who coordinate our studies.

We use what you submit only to contact you about studies you may be eligible for. Submitting the form does not enroll you in a study: enrollment is a separate step that begins with an informed consent process reviewed by the Yale University Institutional Review Board.

To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it removed from our list, email us and we will take care of it.
