Nitzan Lubianiker

Ph.D., Tel Aviv University (2023)
M.Sc., Tel Aviv University (2017)
nitsan.lubianiker@yale.edu

Nitzan’s research is focused on how our prior knowledge about the world shapes the formation of new, detailed associative memories, and how these new memories are integrated into our existing schemas. To tackle this research topic, Nitzan leverages behavioural methods, neuroimaging techniques (MEG and fMRI), computational modeling and machine learning approaches. In addition, Nitzan uses real-time decoding-based fMRI Neurofeedback to reduce negative attentional biases of individuals with Major Depressive Disorder.
