Kailong is interested in understanding how we perceive, learn, and remember. To tackle these questions, he uses fMRI, closed-loop neurofeedback, and convolutional neural network models for image synthesis and representational similarity analysis. Kailong developed an interest in data analysis when studying two-photon data from mice brains and became interested in convolutional neural networks after attending Dr. Fei-Fei Li’s machine learning course at Stanford University.
