Jeffrey Wammes

Ph.D., University of Waterloo, Canada (2017)
j.wammes@yale.edu
Jeff is interested in the impact of how we encounter and interact with stimuli in our environment on our later memory for and processing of these stimuli, as well as the neural mechanisms underlying these changes. He has approached these issues by testing memory following various encoding tasks (including visual production through drawing), and measuring how student inattention during university lectures impairs retention.
