Cameron studies how infants may be useful model systems for understanding the adult brain. In particular, he is interested in how comparisons between infants and adults can help us understand perception, attention and memory. After reading Julian Jaynes’ treatise on consciousness he realized that we know little about consciousness and acquired an all-consuming desire to understand it.
